Oli and Mike designed and installed a bespoke kitchen in my Victorian cottage rental property in Barnes. The kitchen layout is a bit unusual and there were a couple of tricky issues (where to fit in a radiator, how to deal with a low windowsill and a normal height island, tiling round the former chimney breast to name a few of them). I would never have been able to dream up the design they created and presented in a set of carefully hand drawn plans. Then, when it came to fitting and installation, their communication was excellent and their flexibility and ability to suggest solutions when the inevitable problems arose was excellent, and exactly what I needed as a remote landlord. I hope my tenants were not too inconvenienced - I know that Oli and Mike worked really hard to make it as pleasant and smooth as possible - and the end result is a beautiful new kitchen which everyone loves. I would thoroughly recommend Yoppum.

We recently worked with Yoppum on our new bathroom and basement works in June 2024. We’re absolutely delighted with the finished products. The bathroom, for which we had to knock out a wall to extend, looks fantastic and they did a particularly good job on laying our mosaic tiles which are perfect. The basement works is also great - transforming what was a brick cellar space into a functioning storage room. The Yoppum guys were timely, to schedule, on budget and tidy after they’ve left. What more could you ask for. Would highly recommend and will be using them again in future !

Yoppum were recommended to us by a trusted contact and, after the usual due diligence, we recently selected and used the Yoppum team for a lengthy and complex exterior, interior and groundworks program of works on a 4-storey Victorian semi in Putney. The scope of works included roofing, external brickwork/pointing repairs, drainage and damp repair works, exterior and interior redecoration, kitchen fitting, electrical, plumbing, flooring, cabinetry, groundworks including front steps replacement, and fencing.
Throughout this lengthy program the Yoppum team have regularly updated us, informed us when materials or payments are to be scheduled, openly advised us how best to achieve quality results within our budget and have responded positively and quickly when scopes or timings had to be altered. I recently used Oliver and his team to do a complete kitchen and living room re-design and installation. I can't compliment them enough for the fantastic job that Oliver and Mike did. The process ran very smoothly, and was done to a high quality. The team were very professional, highly trustworthy and great at communicating with me and providing updates, proactive at addressing any issues that popped up even if it inconvenienced them, and good value! In April 2021, we were recommended Oliver Emsley as project Manager for our upcoming house renovation. The plan was to build an extension and open up the ground floor with a new kitchen and living room.
After talking to Oliver, we didn’t have any doubts about asking him to help us.
He understood completely what we wished for and was very helpful, finding an architect to help us with the drawings. Throughout the whole process, Oliver has been ahead of everything regarding all contact and communication with the Borough, the Council, architect, building engineer, party wall survey, building control, Etc….
Oliver is extremely thorough and follows everything through, making sure there isn’t any loose ends or misunderstandings.
The build started in November 2021 and was finished just after Easter 2022. Just as Oliver and the building company had scheduled it for. Oliver suggested that builders followed a three phased plan for the whole build, which was a huge help and made sure that we as clients, didn’t lose track of things.
Both Oliver and the builders have shown an extremely high level of professionalism during the process and, as clients, we have felt very comfortable and well taken care of.
Oliver is very pleasant to be around and we have had many laughs and good conversations.
We can only, in the strongest and warmest way, recommend Yoppum to anyone who’s looking for a personal and professional project managing.
