The Job
Full two bedroom apartment refurbishment including new bathroom, kitchen, plumbing and electrics, new flooring throughout, bespoke joinery units and painting and decorating.
The Challenges
yoppum was also instructed for the buildings exterior maintenance works at the same time which involved multiple trades on site with multiple deliveries and waste removals. The bespoke joinery units were a challenge due to the height of the ceilings being 2.7 metres.
The Solution
Both the exterior works (roofing, landscaping and exterior painting), and the internal flat renovation were meticulously planned with the freeholders and flat owner with the works starting in October 2023 and culminating with the flat finishing at the end of Jan 2024. A weekly schedule was produced to organise the various trades on site, the deliveries booked in ad the waste removals for both sides of the project.

The scope of works included roofing, external brickwork/pointing repairs, drainage and damp repair works, exterior and interior redecoration, kitchen fitting, electrical, plumbing, flooring, cabinetry, groundworks including front steps replacement, and fencing.
